Diagnosis

Midlobe of mesoscutum with posterior 1/3 with engraved reticulation; scutellum wide, 0.9X as long as wide, lateral mesh-rows situated half-way between median groove and lateral margin of scutellum; mesoscutum and scutellum metallic bluish-purple, bluish-green or golden-green; hind tibial spur long, LS/LT = 0.53; propodeum with median carina relatively short and wide, LC/WC = 2.0, with sides rounded. Similar to aeneicollis but with longer petiole and with a longer hind tibial spur; also similar to dorypher but with shorter petiole. See also hylaeus, livens and panamensis.

Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru.

Biology

From Dialecta sp. (Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae) on Cordia alliodora (Boraginaceae); Leiopleura sp. (Coleoptera: Buprestidae) on Ficus sp. (Moraceae); Apanteles(?) (Hymenoptera; Braconidae) from Peleopoda sp. (Lepidoptera: Oecophoridae) on Elaeis guineensis (Arecaceae).

livens, but ticus with flagellum more slender, frons just above frontal suture with very weak reticulation.
